Meet My Menu

More choice at the table.

Blind and low-vision diners should be able to explore a menu, ask their own questions, and choose what to order without handing that decision to someone else.

What it does

Open the app in a phone browser. Scan a paper menu or find a restaurant’s menu online, then listen to the dishes and ask follow-up questions in ordinary language.

Scan

Point the phone at a printed menu and get spoken guidance while capturing it.

Find

Search for a restaurant and use the menu information Meet My Menu can locate.

Ask

Ask about dishes, ingredients, prices, or preferences without navigating a visual menu.

Why it exists

Restaurant ordering often depends on reading small print, scanning a QR code, or asking another person to read every option. Meet My Menu is designed to make more of that experience independent.

Built with honest limits

Menu sources can be incomplete or out of date. The app should say when information is missing, and allergen details always need confirmation with restaurant staff.
